about this poster

Venice poster, gondolier on a canal, “VENEZIA”

A gondolier steers his black gondola along a Venice canal with a slow, steady stroke. Palaces with colorful facades and ornate balconies rise on either side, and a stone bridge spans the water a little farther on. This Venice poster highlights the silent glide of the gondola and the reflections on the water. The warm ocher and red facades contrast with the black of the boat. The title “VENEZIA”, the Italian name of the city, crowns the scene.

A Venetian canal for a bedroom or living room

Its warm tones and romantic scene suit a bedroom, a living room, an entryway or a dining room. It pairs well with velvet, dark wood, brass, mirrors and earth-toned or cream walls. Its vertical format follows the perspective of the canal. You can combine it with other Venice or Italy posters to create a travel wall. It makes a gift for a couple who have experienced Venice, a lover of Italy or a loved one who dreams of going there.
