about this poster

Amsterdam poster, bike on a bridge and gabled houses

Leaning against the railing of an arched bridge, a bike seems to watch a small boat drift by on the canal. Along the water stand the tall, narrow gabled houses, packed tightly together, with their many windows. This Amsterdam poster captures a quiet moment of strolling, with no crowds or bustle. The deep reds of the facades answer the blue of the sky and the canal, for a luminous image of the city. The title “AMSTERDAM” is printed beneath the scene, drawn in an illustrated travel poster style.

A stroll through Amsterdam for an entryway or office

Its reds and bright blues bring life to an entryway, a living room, an office or a bedroom. They pair with light wood, linen, black metal and white or pearl gray walls. Its vertical format, which follows the height of the houses, suits narrow walls. You can combine it with other Amsterdam posters for a trio on the canals. It makes a lovely weekend souvenir to give to those who have explored the canals by bike, to lovers of the Netherlands or to everyday cyclists.

Choosing the size and the spot

For a set of several posters, also plan the gaps between the frames. Keep your decor away from water splashes and heat sources.
