Bryggen wharf, colorful houses and Bergen harbor poster

Bergen poster, colorful houses of the Bryggen wharf

Along Bergen harbor, the Bryggen wharf lines up its gabled wooden houses in red, yellow and ochre. Boats are moored in front of them, and in the background Mount Fløyen rises above the city. This Bergen poster plays on reflections: the colorful facades are doubled in the dark water of the harbor. The vertical composition draws the eye up from the wharf to the mountain. The whole evokes coastal Norway, between fjords and wooden houses. The title “BERGEN” accompanies this view.

A Norwegian harbor for a living room or entryway

Its reds and ochres warm up a living room, an entryway, an office or a bedroom, and pair well with light wood, wool, linen and Scandinavian-inspired interiors. In portrait format, it sits nicely in a hallway or near a bookcase. It can join other posters of Scandinavia or Northern harbors. It makes a gift for a traveler back from Norway, a lover of fjords, a fan of Nordic cruises or friends planning a trip to the Far North.
