Cinema projectionist and film reel poster

Projectionist in his movie theater booth poster

In a small booth, a projectionist threads a reel of film into a large projector. Through the small window, a beam of bright light streams toward the screen, while film reels are stacked on the shelf nearby. This projectionist poster bears the title “NOW SHOWING”, as if the show were starting right now. The shadows of the booth, the brilliance of the beam and the warm tones of the metal create an intimate atmosphere that sheds light on the hidden work behind every screening.

A projection booth scene for the library or office

Its warm tones and dim light suit a library, an office, a living room or a home theater. It pairs well with leather, dark wood, shelves full of films and softly glowing lamps. Hung near a screen or a projector, it recalls the magic of darkened theaters. You can group it with other cinema posters. It is a touching gift for a former projectionist, a movie collector or anyone nostalgic for neighborhood movie theaters.
