about this poster

Preserved fruit jar poster, “PRESERVED”

At the center of the poster stands a glass preserving jar, filled with peach and plum halves in golden syrup, with a leafy branch rising from it. All around, ornamental leaves and flowers form a decorative frame, as on a carefully designed label. This cannery-style poster evokes the pleasure of jams and fruit put up in jars in the warm season, when summer is kept for winter. The symmetrical composition, in a vertical format, gives the whole the elegance of fine grocery packaging. The title “PRESERVED” refers to these preserved fruits.

A fruit jar for the kitchen or pantry

Decorative and mouthwatering, it finds its place in a kitchen, pantry, dining room or delicatessen. It pairs well with shelves of jars, wood, glass, linen and cream or soft green walls. Its vertical format fits next to a pantry or above a countertop. It can join other kitchen or fruit posters. It makes an easy gift for a jam enthusiast, a gardener who puts up their harvest in jars or a lover of home cooking.

Choosing the size and the spot

Measure the space available on your wall, allowing for the frame you want to use. Then compare the sizes offered on this page and check the orientation of the artwork.

For a set of several posters, also plan the gaps between the frames. Keep your decor away from water splashes and heat sources.
