about this poster

Sahara poster, trimotor plane over an oasis

In broad daylight, a silver trimotor plane flies low over the Sahara. The scene is seen from an oasis: in the foreground, dromedaries rest near the well, in front of a mud-brick ksar with a tall, slender minaret. In the distance, golden dunes roll to the horizon. This Sahara poster blends aviation and desert in a spirit of grand aerial adventure. The golds of the sand, the ochre of the mud brick and the gleam of the plane make a warm image, with the title “SAHARA”.

A Saharan adventure for a living room or office

Its golds and ochres warm up a living room, office, library or entryway. They pair well with leather, Berber rugs, terracotta, brass and dark wood. Above a desk, it evokes great crossings. It can be paired with other aviation or desert posters. It is a perfect gift for an aviation and flight history enthusiast, a traveler who has slept in the desert or a lover of the Maghreb.
